The multi-track conference program will include over 130 sessions, where industry experts and thought leaders will discuss how wearables and smart technology are impacting on business and home life. Topics will include; smart textiles, connected living, M2M & IOWT, data and privacy, enterprise, ihealth and wellbeing, lifestyle, sport and fitness, start-up advice and funding, app development, marketing and mobile payments.
Having moved the show to ExCel in order to expand the event, Lisa Doerr, Event Director, commented, ‘Moving to ExCel was the right decision for our second year. It allows us to showcase more products and focus on a number of vertical markets. It also allows us to launch The Augmented Reality Show, which will run alongside the Wearable Technology event. The Augmented Reality Show will house a dedicated conference and expo, featuring the latest AR technology and applications being utilized in the workplace and home. Google will be showcasing some of the apps being developed for AR by Android Wear alongside industry experts’.
